Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Series Launching Soon

Leaked Specs Reveal Intel Core Ultra 7 155H "Meteor Lake" Processor and Samsung Gauss AI Integration.

Samsung is getting ready to unveil its advanced Galaxy Book 4 series, set to be a game-changer in laptops with cool AI features. The series is expected to launch on December 15 in South Korea, bringing something new to Samsung’s lineup, just like their top Galaxy S series phones.

As per reports from Yonhap, the Galaxy Book 4 series will feature Intel’s Core Ultra processor, specifically the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H “Meteor Lake” processor. This 16-core CPU is making its debut on December 14 at Intel’s AI event, and the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will be the first to have it.

Leaked specs for the premium Samsung laptop show some exciting features:

  • Samsung SDC4188 touch display with a 2880×1800 resolution
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Processor
  • 32GB Memory
  • 1TB SSD
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU

Unfortunately, the leaked info doesn’t mention a 64GB RAM version. We’re not sure how many models Samsung will launch this year. Last year, they introduced four, including the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 360 Pro, and Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

Reports suggest that Samsung accelerated the launch date of these laptops by over a month to claim the coveted title of the “first AI laptop.” Intel’s Core Ultra CPU, equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), empowers the Galaxy Book 4 series with enhanced AI processing capabilities and features. Samsung is expected to integrate its new on-device AI model, Samsung Gauss, into the series, a technology likely to extend to the upcoming Galaxy S24 series as well.
