In a poignant moment at the Audi Hungaria facility in Hungary, the final curtain fell on the production of the beloved Audi TT series. The closing act featured the Audi TT Roadster Final Edition, marking the end of an era that began in 1998 with the introduction of the Audi TT Coupé.

The production history at this Hungarian plant witnessed the birth of iconic models like the TT Coupé and Roadster, alongside the Q3 and Q3 Sportback SUVs. Notably, the Audi TT moniker has left its mark globally, with over 6,62,762 units sold across three generations since its inception.

The concluding masterpiece to roll off the assembly line is the Audi TT Roadster Final Edition, draped in the nostalgic Goodwood Green Pearl paint – a callback to the TT models of 1998. Limited to just 50 units, this unique convertible will exclusively grace the roads of the United States. The special edition comes with a sophisticated S-line package, boasting matte grey inserts, S-line badges, a grey convertible roof (first seen on the 2019 TT Roadster 20th Anniversary edition), and stylish 20-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cockpit, the Palomino Brown leather trim takes centre stage, adorned with the TT’s iconic baseball stitching. Carbon fibre inlays and a standard leather package add a touch of luxury. The S sport seats, equipped with neck-level heating and built-in seat belt microphones, provide both comfort and sophistication. The interior also boasts a 12.3-inch driver display and a high-quality 12-speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system.

Under the hood, the TT Roadster Final Edition packs a punch with its 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine generating 228PS and 350Nm of torque. Mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the Quattro all-wheel drive system propels the TT from 0-60mph in just 5.5 seconds. As the final chapter unfolds, the Audi TT Roadster Final Edition stands as a testament to a remarkable automotive legacy.
